Fran Haasch moved to Palm Harbor, Florida in 1991 after relocating from Long Island New York. She is a graduate of the University of Florida and Stetson University College of Law. She has had her own law firm practicing Personal Injury Law for over ten years. She is a lifetime member of The Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Fran is a member of The ATLA (Association of Trial Lawyers of America), Florida Justice Association (formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers), and the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association. Fran handles cases in the area of Auto Accidents, Motorcycle Accidents, Wrongful Death, Trucking Accidents, Bicycle Accidents, and Pedestrian Accidents. Fran is fluent in German.
Joshua R. Lipton is a graduate of The University of Central Florida, earning his B.S. degree in Legal Studies with a Minor in Criminal Justice. While at college in Orlando, Mr. Lipton also attained his Florida motorcycle endorsement after taking the Motorcycle Safety Foundation course at Orlando Harley-Davidson. Mr. Lipton earned his Juris Doctorate at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. Stetson is consistently ranked as one of the top law schools in the nation for trial advocacy and legal research/writing. Mr. Lipton began his career working as a law clerk for various law firms, including the Fran Haasch Law Group. After passing the Florida Bar, Mr. Lipton joined the Fran Haasch Law Group as an attorney and has been with the firm ever since.
Mr. Lipton is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Florida. Mr. Lipton currently holds memberships in the Florida Justice Association (Formerly Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers), the Florida Bar, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Lipton handles cases in the areas of Auto Accidents, Motorcycle Accidents, Wrongful Death, Trucking Accidents, Bicycle Accidents, and Pedestrian Accidents. Mr. Lipton understands that pursuing a legal claim may be an overwhelming process for clients. Recognizing the importance of leading a balanced lifestyle, Mr. Lipton values the time he spends with his beautiful wife, Jennifer, and their three dogs, Charlotte, Finn, and Mojo. Mr. Lipton also enjoys riding his motorcycle, golfing, swimming, and target shooting in his spare time.
Laura K. Smith has served as an attorney “Of Counsel” to the Fran Haasch Law Group since 2008. While working with the Fran Haasch Law Group, Ms. Smith exclusively focuses her practice on personal injury cases including automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death and slip and fall accidents. Ms. Smith was raised in Key West, Florida, and maintains a law firm in Key West. Ms. Smith has practiced primarily in the areas of Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, Complex Litigation, Criminal Defense, Family Law, Appellate work and Contract Dispute. Ms. Smith and Ms. Haasch met as college friends in 1993, and have continued to work together as friends and colleagues to this day. Ms. Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from the University of Florida in 1996. She graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, with honors, in 2000.
Ms. Smith is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and is admitted to practice in all other state courts in Florida. In 2010, Ms. Smith was selected for inclusion on the Florida Super Lawyers/ Rising Stars List. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in Florida receive this honor. Ms. Smith served as past President, Vice President and Secretary of the Monroe County Bar Association. She also served multiple terms as the past President and Secretary/Treasurer of the Monroe County Chapter of Criminal Defense Attorneys. Ms. Smith has had the distinction of serving as a Judge for the Monroe County Sherriff’s Office Teen Court program, and also had the honor to serve on her local Board of Directors, Police Athletic League. Ms. Smith has held memberships in The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the American Bar Association.
Michael L. Walker is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by both The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Less than 2% of Florida lawyers are Board Certified. David R. Fuller knows a lot about insurance companies. After all, he was an attorney with a major carrier for over a dozen years prior to joining the Fran Haasch Law Group in October 2012. During his long tenure with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Mr. Fuller defended all types of personal injury cases and eventually became Regional Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Counsel where he was responsible for investigating and prosecuting insurance fraud cases throughout the State of Florida. Prior to working for Liberty Mutual, Mr. Fuller was an Assistant State Attorney in Clearwater, where he conducted approximately one-hundred fifty trials, including over eighty jury trials. Mr. Fuller also worked for another plaintiff’s firm for two years before joining the Fran Haasch Law Group.
Mr. Fuller is an Honors Graduate of Stetson University College of Law and earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Colgate University with a double concentration in Political Science and Geography. Mr. Fuller is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts within Florida. Prior to law school, Dave was employed in the radio and television industry as on air talent.
Dave has been married to his wife, Susanne, for over twenty years and they have one son. When not practicing law, Dave loves to ride his bike, stay in shape and play guitar. He is also active in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay.
