The personal injury firm has pledged $15K toward foundation initiatives and programs that “uplift the minds, hearts and spirits of families and children.” The partnership kicks off with a golf tournament sponsorship at the foundation’s annual [Celebrity Outdoor Weekend event](https://www.mikealstottfamilyfoundation.org/celebrity-outdoor-weekend/), April 23-24, in the Tampa Bay area. “My family and I know Mike and his family through various charity initiatives we’ve all been involved with,” Haasch said. “We love that they’re passionate about many of the same causes and groups as we are – homelessness, youth, veterans, food insecurity and first responders.” Inspired by her grandmother and father — WWII refugees who survived because of strangers’ generosity — Haasch’s devotion to [giving back](https://www.lawfran.com/about-us/giving-back/) and helping others has been woven into her firm’s culture since she opened her Palm Harbor office in 2000. Former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Mike Alstott formed the Mike Alstott Family Foundation in 2007.
