Paul Teutul Sr. Presents Custom Orange County Choppers Motorcycle to Fran Haasch

A Special Day for Tampa Bay’s Riding Community

Fran Haasch recently received a custom motorcycle built by the team at Orange County Choppers and presented in person by Paul Teutul Sr..

The unveiling took place in Florida in front of riders, community members, veterans, and local supporters. Paul Sr. introduced the build himself, sharing the story behind the design and the collaboration that made it possible.

For Fran, this moment was about more than a motorcycle. It was about community.

The Unveiling

During the presentation, Paul Sr. described the motorcycle as one of the more unique builds Orange County Choppers has completed.

He highlighted the distinctive eagle feature integrated into the rear of the bike and explained how the design came together. The eagle element was created in collaboration with sculptor Jen (@jenloreeofficial on Instagram), whose wildlife work brought a powerful presence to the build.

The motorcycle also features:

  • Candy red paint — Fran’s favorite color
  • Custom embroidered seating
  • “AVA” incorporated into the tank
  • A fully functional design built to be ridden, not just displayed

Paul emphasized that the bike was intentionally built to be comfortable and ridable.

Fran shared that she plans to ride it into upcoming events, including appearances at Orange County Choppers.

Here we go. Brand new Orange County Chopper.

[cheering]

Uh oh.

0:05

Here we go. Here we go, Jody.

0:09

Look at it.

0:11

[cheering, screaming]

0:19

Oh my.

0:22

Wow.

0:24

Check it out. [cheering]

0:26

Fran Haasch got a brand new OCC bike. Wow. What do you guys think?

0:30

Beautiful.

0:32

Beautiful.

0:36

Wow. Is that cool? So Paul’s going to tell you about the bike.

0:47 — Paul Teutul Sr. speaking

Yeah. So the best part about that bird is if you run out of gas, it’ll take you the rest.

[laughter]

When I was coming over here, the wind picked up — I thought I was going to go up.

[laughter]

First of all, we love this.

[cheering]

It took me a while to figure out what to do here. We talked about a sidecar, we talked about a cage, and I just couldn’t really visualize that.

This bird — Jen, her official Instagram is L-O-R-E-E — that’s what she does. She does sculptures. If you get an opportunity to look her up, she does some beautiful work.

We were trying to figure out a way to get her into one of the shows, and this was the perfect fit. We gave her a call and she got on it right away. She basically did that in like four or five days.

2:08 — Fran responding

I hope you guys like it. I can’t wait to meet her. I love it. I don’t just like it — I love it. I don’t want to cry on TV.

[laughter]

2:20 — Fran

This is beautiful, Paul. I plan on riding this into your expo in May.

Paul: Absolutely.

2:27 — Paul

I’m really happy with this. It’s probably one of the most different things we’ve done. We’ve done just about everything — this is probably one of the most different things.

I hope you’re happy with it, because I really love it.

2:41 — Fran

It encompasses two things that are very important to me — the veterans and the rescue animals — and Ava, which I saw on the side of the tank.

My friend Patrick Bradley is here — he’s a Vietnam vet that you met before. He’s incredible and has worked with other veterans with birds and PTSD.

[applause]

Everyone here — this is absolutely a beautiful bike. This is our bike, because this is our biker community. We’ve been doing this together since we started.

I’m grateful for all of you coming out here today. This is an incredible turnout on a Wednesday afternoon. We’ve had the practice here for 25 years, and so many of you I’ve known since the beginning.

I love you like family, and I know if I needed any of you at 2 a.m., you’d be there to support me.

[cheering, applause]

I can’t wait to ride it.

3:47 — Fran

I want to thank my uncle Ed — he’s standing in for my dad today. I know my dad’s shining down from heaven watching this, and he’s so proud.

I grew up in the shop with my dad. I knew how to fix cars before I went to college.

This is incredible. Thanks to my wonderful family — my husband Rhett, our son Claus, our son Henry, our oldest son Pierce in Boston — and all of you guys and our wonderful staff at the office.

I couldn’t do it without you.

We’re going to be using this bike together to benefit other people who need it.

[applause]

5:06 — Fran

I love the seat, the custom embroidery, and that eagle. Wow. Amazing.

5:23 — Host

You guys see this handlebar where we can have the eagle perching. We have a new rescue here — her name is Miss America. She’s going to perch on the bike at events.

She’s a recent rescue from Tampa Bay Raptor Rescue, which does a lot in this community saving endangered birds.

6:34 — Fran

Thank you Paul, and your entire crew. You guys are amazing. We had a great time doing this.

I didn’t know what to expect — and I even got my favorite color.

[cheering]

7:07 — Host

Paul struggled — he wanted to make sure it was a very rideable bike for you.

Fran: Thank you.

It was easy to sit, my feet hit the ground. Very easy.

He knows I ride a Deluxe — so this is perfect.

8:19 — Fran

Paul built this bike for us. I feel like I’m living the American dream. I can’t believe we’re sitting here today with this gorgeous bike.

You’re going to see me at all the events.

9:09 — Host

We just unveiled a brand new Orange County Chopper for Law Fran.

What do you think of the bike?

Guest: It’s absolutely beautiful. The eagle is super patriotic. Red is Fran’s favorite color. The stitching seat by Jim’s Leathers — it’s stunning.

They’re going to take it to events where the bald eagle can perch on it — that’s the star of the show.

10:00 — Host

What a turnout today. It’s Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. and this many people showed up.

11:20 — Crowd singing Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to you…

[cheering]

13:12 — Host

I think Paul is ready to fire up his new creation.

13:27

Here we go.

[engine revving]

14:40 — Host

There he goes. The legend — still building bikes. 76 years young. How great is that?

15:03 — Fran

You guys are family. I love and appreciate you. I will always be there for you as you’re always there for me.

I can’t wait to ride this bike with you guys.

15:12 — Host

Tons of motorcycles here. Everybody out for the big Orange County Choppers unveiling.

What a great day in Florida.

19:43 — Host

There goes Paul Senior taking off. Brand new Orange County Chopper. Look at that eagle on the back — how cool is that?

Still building bikes. 76 years young.

Another beautiful build.

The unveiling brought together riders, veterans, rescue advocates, and supporters from across the region.

Built for Purpose

At the event, Fran spoke about the causes that have shaped her life and career:

  • Supporting veterans

  • Honoring Ava’s Angels
  • Giving back to the Tampa Bay community

The motorcycle will appear at charitable events and community gatherings throughout the area, continuing that mission.

This build reflects the values Fran has carried for more than 25 years — loyalty, service, and standing beside the riding community.
